As of right now, there’s no additional information regarding what will be included in the beta, but we should know more after the multiplayer reveal next week.Įven though the game’s open beta is over a month away, we could see an alpha version beforehand, as a PSN file called “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Alpha” was recently updated in all of the following regions: United States, Japan, Australia, and Europe. Users on other platforms will get access to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s open beta one week later on October 15. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer reveal is scheduled for next week - September 9 - which is likely where Treyarch will officially reveal the release date for the game’s beta, but an in-store leak revealed it ahead of time, as the open beta will arrive on October 8, with PlayStation 4 users will get to try it first.
